THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED - PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR A FUTURE RESCHEDULED DATE AND TIME
Background Music by: RANT MAGGIE RANT from their album "LATITUDE"
We gather to celebrate the most intimate presence of the divine in all things
by appreciating the very Highest in the very smallest.
The Midsummer Solstice is the zodiacal point where the Sun draws closest to the Earth
to illuminate the darkness of mortality with Singing Lights of the Divine Mind.
The New Moon in Cancer flows out as the Water of Life, symbolizing the energetic currents of love,
empathy and unity by which the Heavenly Dew of the Stars drips down to conceive the rebirth of the soul
within the hallowed groves of the Earth.
A Midsummer Feast
Rant Maggie Rant - Celtic Fusion
Since their debut in 2008, RANT MAGGIE RANT has consistently won over audiences at festivals, folk clubs, town halls, churches, concert halls and symphonic stages. The original goal was to take traditional Celtic music as the foundation, then liberally and unapologetically colour outside the prescribed lines. In a nut-shell, have fun! RANT MAGGIE RANT's fusion of Latin and Mediterranean rhythms, African hand drumming and percussion, blues/rock guitar backdrops, revved up tempos, unexpected time changes, and a unique rhythmic attack take their listeners on a journey to several cultural musical landmarks. Their repertoire combines original and contemporary compositions with traditional tunes, often blending them together to deliver an intoxicating performance.

Samantha Watt - Powerhouse Vocalist
Artist, poet; powerhouse vocalist. SAMANTHA WATT is a force to be reckoned with. Samantha released her first solo album in 2015 on CYMBA music. "Writing the album was the next step for me, and along the way I have learnt many things that I am grateful for. I really wanted to be fearless with this album; I wanted to be as honest as possible and as real with myself as with others. I had songs pre-written but as it were every song that has been created on this album has really been 'in the moment' and I feel that this offers even more emotion, it's pure. We have really tried to maintain our own creativeness throughout this process. I feel we have accomplished this and truly couldn’t be happier with the direction it has taken."

Midsummer is the Feast of St John where the Green Man, the universal archetype of the divine herald also known as Hermes, Enoch and Al-Khidr mediates the mercurial seas of the Quicksilver to lower the Rainbow Bridge in joining above with below.
Midsummer is a festival of purification, fertility, healing and rebirth: an ancestral tradition honored by the collecting of medicinal plants and the burning of sacred fires. Through the merrymaking of music, spirituality and culture we gather to renew the promise of living in accordance with nature through the will of the Love Divine.
- "This is because all great sacraments come when there is a pause, silence and tremor. Man possessed by God, or by the Beloved, is at first overwhelmed by the union. Everything must be reconsidered, all motions and motives reversed. And in those short intense nights when the Feast of St John is celebrated there may be tumult in the outer world but there is stillness in the Holy Place where Night enfolds Day, and Life is conceived anew."
- Dane Rudhyar
Whatever may happen to be the object of knowledge, the highest degree of knowledge is always achieved when the knower, the human subject, becomes completely unified and identified with the object so much that there remains no distinction between the two.
- Toshihiko Izutsu
And so our love's not a simple thing
Nor our truths unwavering
But like the moon's pull on the tide
Our fingers touch, our hearts collide
I'll be a moonsbreath by your side.
